''Madhubala'' shot in Ramoji Film City

New Delhi, May 26 (IANS) Most Hindi TV shows are shot in Mumbai''s Film City, but the makers of "Madhubala...Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon" went a step ahead and shot its 10 initial episodes at Hyderabad''s world-famous Ramoji Film City.

New Delhi, May 26 (IANS) Most Hindi TV shows are shot in Mumbai's Film City, but the makers of "Madhubala...Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon" went a step ahead and shot its 10 initial episodes at Hyderabad's world-famous Ramoji Film City.
"I doubt any Hindi TV show has been shot there before. We wanted to get good visuals and shot the initial 10 episodes of the show there," Saurabh Tewari of Nautanki Films told IANS.
The show, which deals with the emotions, trials and tribulations of people behind-the-scenes, aims to pay a tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema.
A lot of thought went behind the set-up of the show, says Tewari, who wanted to give a real look and feel to the show.
"We were well aware that the medium of the show was television, so we did not want to make it like a hardcore feature film. Our show is very television in its DNA, but in terms of set-up and production, it is very film like. So we went ahead and shot it in Ramoji Film City," he said.
Some scenes have also been shot at Mumbai's busy Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and a Ganapati sequence has also been shot at the entertainment capital's Fort area.
"Madhubala...Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon" features actors Drashti Dhami and Vivian D'Sena in key roles. The show will deal with the ups and lows of an actor, as well as delve into the lives of people who work hard day in and day out without ever being recognised.
"We want to talk of a family of a stunt artist or a junior artist, who are never talked about or written about... of someone who may have come from Punjab thinking he will be the next Dharmendra and might be working as a stuntman now..."
"Bollywood is the only industry which has some kind of national integration with people coming from all over. There are various positive aspects of film industry, and that's what we aim to show," Tewari added.
The show will go on air Monday on Colors at 8:30 p.m.

Tips to make small room spacious

Not everyone is able to afford the grandeur flats and mansions, so the needs of managing and decorating the tiny spaces are a must these days. Interior designers are always challenged for making the tiniest possible space look spacious.

One needs tact and tips in order to fill up the room wisely. Here are few tips to do the same:

1. Clear the Clutter off: Remove all unnecessary stuff, from clutter, furniture and even a single wrapper.

2. Pick up as many items off the floor as you can: Fully decked floor makes a room look bulky heavy and jam-packed. So pick your shelves and small stuff off the floor and keep them in wall cabinets.

3. Use a shoe rack: Using a shoe rack would help you in managing your cluttered shoes and keep the space clean.

4. Use cool colors: Use cool, pastel white shades to give the room a bigger look, use vertical stripes on walls to give it longer and higher look.

5. Mirroring Illusion: Use mirror on long and high walls of home to create an illusionary spacious effect. Using mirror on big walls would reflect the other parts of home and it would give us illusions that we are seeing another room.

6. Match the color of wall and furniture: Contrast colors would make the furniture look like an extra bulk in the room. Use same colored furniture as your curtains and wall are of.

Drashti Dhami has no fantasy for Bollywood!

We can’t help but praise the honest confession made by the extremely gorgeous and a desire of many hearts, Drashti Dhami, loved and adored by fans for her portrayal of Geet from Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi.

While many in the television world dream to take their career to newer heights by stepping into Bollywood, which we guess is quite fair on their part; Drashti simply has no such desires. The pretty girl, who forayed into television after appearing in few of the music videos and ad commercials, was first seen as Dr. Muskan inDil Mill Gayye. But she shot to fame with her character Geet, which is still loved by all.

She said, "I am going to stick to television, I am very happy doing it. I am sure a lot of people have dreams of moving to Bollywood but I have no such ambitions... I am comfortable doing my soaps and feel satisfied with them”.

Drashti will now be seen playing the lead in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon alongside Vivian Dsena. It was speculated recently that alleged to be based on Bollywood legendary Madhubala and Dilip Kumar, the show has got into some legal issues.

However, clarifying the issue, Drashti said, "My character bears no resemblance to Madhubala ji, I don't think I can be compared to her, she is an idol. When you talk about films there are only three names which come to your mind - Shah Rukh KhanAmitabh Bachchan and Madhubala. They couldn't have named me after the guys so my character is called Madhubala. Our film industry is completing 100 years so the show is a tribute."

Our wishes are with you Drashti and we hope that this show of yours will also make it big!

Kristen Stewart injured herself being a vampire during Breaking Dawn reshoots!

This might come as a bit sad news for Kristen Stewart aka Bella Swan lovers as we hear that the actress suffered an injury while reshooting the last installment in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn-Part 2.

Recently the actress showed up to Jay Leno on May 4 in flats, but it’s not because she was trying to sneak out of wearing heels, actually she wounded herself up in Vancouver. Though she is known for her hatred of heels but recently she sported a casual look on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno May 4 for a completely different reason.

“I didn’t have the ultimate swag though when I walked out [because] I hurt my foot [during reshoots],” Kristen said, sporting chic flat loafers. “I wasn’t trying to get out of wearing heels though either. That wasn’t the case.”

She added, “We were doing some stuff for Breaking Dawn still. Every time [we have reshoots]! It was cool though. We were doing just more of the hunt in the beginning. The first hunt. It’s so important. I just wanted more of it. We all wanted more of it.”

Kristen is so dedicated becoming the best vampire that she hurt herself! She never ceases to impress us and we are sure that she will keep on entertaining us this way.

Drashti Dhami makes the perfect Madhubala for the Colors' show!

Patience definitely brings out sweet results and we are sure that all Drashti Dhami akaGeet fans will agree to this adage.

Ever since Geet Hui Sabse Parayi went off air, the ardent fans of Maan aka Gurmeet Choudhary and Drashti were keen to see the two back on the screen. Though they did get their desire fulfilled partially as Gurmeet returned with Zee TV’s Punar Vivah but the real wait was still holding on.

Yes, all wanted to know as to how and on which channel will Drashti make a return. And now we guess everyone has the answer to this. Drashti will now be seen donning yet another avatar with Madhubala…Ek Ishq Ek Junoon to be aired on Colors from May. Based on the epic but unrequited love tale of Bollywood legends Dilip Kumarand ethereal beauty Madhubala, the show has Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani fame Vivian Dsena as the male lead.

This news had got a great welcome by all fans and ever since Colors has started airing the promos of it, the craze has just doubled. After watching the promos which showcases Drashti running away from the fame and eye of public, one can’t help but praise the girl for getting into the character so convincingly.

Her looks and gestures are simply mesmerizing and have made us believe that the show is indeed going to be a promising one. Just a wait of few more days and Drashti will be all there to captivate everyone with her spellbinding magic.

Let’s wish her good luck and hope that along with the fans’ love and admiration, this show will help her earn many awards too!
