Drashti is presently the most famous and desired actress of television industry. The curly haired girl started off her career playing a model for various brands which included the likes of Reliance Communication, Chevroletand others. Later, Drashti entered the world of music albums and was first seen in the video song Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re.
Post ruling the music world, Drashti headed on to Tellywood and here she bagged her first soap Dil Mill Gayye aired on Star One. It was with DMG that the viewers got to see the chirpy, lively and vivacious Dr. Muskaan Chadda. Then came the path breakingGeet Hui Sabse Parayi on the same channel, which not only helped Drashti in setting a firm foot in the town but even saw an immense rise in her popularity. Her sizzling chemistry with co-star Gurmeet Choudhary aka Maan Singh Khuranabecame the talk of town and even today they happen to be the most loved jodi of all.
Though the show has got over but she still enjoys the same fan following and is emerging as the youth icon. Of lately, she was appointed as the brand ambassador for Canvironment Week 2011 initiated by Hindustan Tin Works Ltd to support the cause of Save Our Planet. It has been learnt that DD was chosen for this campaign owing to the massive fan support she has from women and youth.
Today when she is celebrating her 27th birthday, Drashti feels that life has given her pretty much and with such loving fans she longs to continue this success journey in the coming years too!
