Desi Boyz slow start at the box office, getting mixed reviews!

The expectations were really high from Akshay Kumarand John Abraham starrer movie Desi Boyz, as there Jodi was coming back on screen after the gap of six years. Their first movie together was Garam Masalathat released in the year 2005.

However, despite of being a big budget movie, Desi Boyz has failed to fulfill the expectations of the makers. It has generated mixed reviews from the audience all over and its condition at the box-office window is very poor.

The movie has received a mixed response at the collection centers on the opening day as it has earned only Rs 9 crore at the Indian box office on first day. When compared to its volume of release, its earning is considered poor beginning. Desi Boyz, which is made with an estimated budget of Rs 65 crore, was released in approximately 2,200 centers across India on Friday, November 25.

The film, which registered a mixed opening, had an average occupancy ranging between 50% and 65% across the country. However, Desi Boyz attracted positive reviews from most of the film critics. The movie bosses were expecting it to get a record breaking opening at the box office as there was no big film to compete with it.

Unfortunately, the movie has failed to reach their expectations.
