Every time you are in need of a beauty tip, grandma’s secret book opens up some effective ways for you. But did you know that they too have their respective pros and cons! So just check them out:

Turmeric for radiance benefits
Turmeric paste is the most suggested beauty treatment which is being in trend since ages. Even today, weddings are almost incomplete without the haldi (turmeric) ritual, where it’s mixed with gram flour and smeared all over the bride’s body for a youthful glow.

Damage
Though it is undoubtedly good for your skin but the frequent use can lead to a temporary, yellowish discoloration of the skin.

Water, the true savior
We know that 70 per cent of the human body is made up of water, and we need it to keep our cells hydrated. Water helps in keeping the skin moisturized, maintains youthfulness and prevents premature ageing.

Damage
Drinking too much water can lead to a condition known as water intoxication, resulting from the dilution of sodium in the body. Kidneys of a healthy adult can process 15 litres (approx) of water a day. But if you drink more, it puts too much pressure on them.

There is no harm in going the natural way for enhancing your beauty but just keep these pros and cons in mind and then only proceed with it.
