“Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart is all flying high as she has managed to win the Best Actress award atMilan Film Festival.
The actress bagged this accolade for her wondrous role as a teen stripper in “Welcome to the Rileys”. Best known for her portrayal of Bella Swan in the “Twilight” saga based on the story of vampires, Kristen was very glad after winning the award.
Reports say that in order to do full justice to the role she got trained under a professional stripper for two months and even shot her first bare scene for the film. As per Kristen, working in the film was a great experience and she agreed to do it as for a long time she was only the part of the vampire series.
She needed a break out of it and even a change in role, so she opted for this one and is really happy that her efforts have got paid back in the right manner. Winning the Best Actress award at Milan Festival is something which is going to be a treasure for years to come. Along with Kristen, actor Aidan Gillen was named as the Best Actor for his performance in the film, “Treacle Jr”, while Nadia Tass walked away with the prize of Best Director for her film, “Matching Jack”.
Congratulations to all the winners!
